WIP - emphasis on the P

Today while Doodlebug napped I got some work done on Ladybug's birthday banners.
I managed to get all of the cutting and hot gluing done, and got one of them assembled before she woke up.
This banner is for the candy buffet "concession stand". The "theater" is the Birthday Bijoux and this will hang either on the wall behind the table or possibly on the front of the table itself.
The candy buffet will have DumDum lollipops, Bit O'Honey, Milk Duds, Zero candy bars, Red Vines and Reese's cups. All of the candies were introduced in the 1920's.
The popcorn and soft drinks will be served at the concession stand as well.

Here is a detail view of one of the letters. I used the budmo jiggler font and filled the dots with gold iridescent dimensional paint. I wanted it to look like lit light bulbs.

Since these banners are just for one day use and not a permanent decor item, I wanted to keep the cost down. The black is school construction paper, the white is regular printer paper, the letters are printed on colored card stock. The crepe paper rosettes are made from a $1 roll of party streamer and the pennants are tied together with gift wrap curling ribbon.
If this were a meant to be a lasting item I would have used acid free papers and adhesives, but I didn't feel it was necessary here.
